Speech Therapy - Lebanon, Missouri
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide expert evaluation and rehabilitation for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with regulatory and clinical practice standards. You will utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based approaches to support effective clinical interventions and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities include documenting all required information thoroughly within the electronic health record system, providing detailed discharge summaries, and maintaining accurate treatment records. Collaboration with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members is essential to address patient progress and barriers. This position also involves participating in team meetings such as patient care conferences and utilization reviews, as well as attending ongoing trainings and educational opportunities. Additional duties involve obtaining necessary DME or supplies, supervising and mentoring clinical fellows or students, and strictly adhering to ASHA and State licensure requirements and professional ethics.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active ASHA Certification and State licensure
- Proven experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice standards
- Ability to perform standardized assessments and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring speech-language pathology students or clinical fellows
