Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication objectives.
• Assist in administering assessments to gather data on students' speech and language capabilities.
• Conduct individual or group therapy sessions for students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Track and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Apply diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language abilities.
• Support students in developing social communication skills.
• Educate students and families on strategies to improve communication beyond therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying body.
• Preferred prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
