Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome communication challenges? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant in a school-based setting. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to implement treatment plans and interventions for students with communication disorders.
- Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech and language difficulties.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students, implementing therapy techniques and activities.
- Monitor and adjust therapy plans as necessary based on client progress and feedback from the supervising speech-language pathologist.
- Assist with the use and maintenance of specialized therapy equipment and materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Successful completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Valid SLPA license or certification (if required in your state).
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, as well as common speech and language disorders.
