Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Clayton, AL
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to individuals of all ages. Your role will involve assisting in evaluations, implementing therapy plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with the therapy team. Job Details:

- Caseload: Middle/high school
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assess and evaluate clients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans based on client needs and goals.
- Conduct therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate techniques and materials under the supervision of an SLP.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working as an SLPA is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders, as well as various therapeutic interventions.
