Speech Language Pathology Assistant - New Bern

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: New Bern, NC
Job Type: Contract
Job Description: As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with Soliant, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with communication disorders. Your responsibilities will include assisting in assessments, implementing therapy interventions, facilitating group sessions, and documenting progress under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will play a crucial role in helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Caroline
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
