Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions within school districts located in the Natchitoches, LA area. As a vital member of the educational team, the chosen candidates will provide essential services to students while adhering to all local and state requirements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Louisiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Clear background check and fingerprinting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers on strategies to promote communication development at home.
