Position Type: Full Time Speech Language Pathologist
Caseload: K-12th grade school caseload
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time basis to serve our kids from grades K-12th. This position will run through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for elementary school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
- Provide therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Full time hours or part time hours are available
- Specific schedule to be determined in consultation with the school administration.
- Hours can be flexible if needed.
