ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Speech language Pathologist (SLP) this school year for a contract position located in the Sherman Oaks, California area. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' communication skills, promoting academic success, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Job Description:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Onsite, preferred
- 55-70+ dollars per hour
- 2024-2025 school year
- Caseload details provided on interview!
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, including articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, and social communication skills training.
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and activities.
- Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
- School experience preferred; not required
- California SLP license
- CCCs or CF
