Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific needs, considering their strengths, challenges, and personal goals.
- Collaborate closely with educators and parents to ensure a holistic approach to therapy, integrating speech and language goals into classroom activities and home routines.
- Continuously track and document student progress using evidence-based methods, providing detailed reports to inform ongoing therapy adjustments and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, with coursework covering a diverse range of speech and language disorders.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in California, with a strong understanding of state regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology practice.
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to effectively manage caseloads, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advocate for the needs of students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, allowing you to effectively engage with students, parents, educators, and other professionals.
