Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Soliant is committed to providing exceptional educational services to students in Union, ME. We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a school-based contract basis.
Position Overview: As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting the speech-language therapy needs of our students. Working closely with our Speech-Language Pathologists and other educational professionals, you will contribute to the development and implementation of therapy plans to enhance communication skills and overall academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting assessments and screenings under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement individual or group therapy sessions based on established treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support the integration of therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Provide support in the preparation of materials for therapy activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
- Valid Maine state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Contract Details:
- Contract duration: Remainder of the school year.
- Full-time position with competitive compensation.
