ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a position in a school district located in Santa Clara. The SLPA will be responsible for providing services to students with diverse learning needs. Details are provided below.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience, preferred
- Active SLPA license
- Bachelor degree
- Must pass drug screen and background check upon offer
Job Details:
- 204-2025 School Year
- Full Time (35 hours/week)
- K-12th grade
- Start: 8/12/2024
- End: 6/4/2025
- Onsite only, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- assist the SLP in conducting screenings and assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills to identify any areas of concern
- supports the implementation of therapy activities and interventions to address speech and language goals. This may include facilitating individual or group therapy sessions
- helps collect data on students' progress during therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records and documenting outcomes to track progress over time
