Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - School Setting
We are currently seeking a dynamic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position in a school setting, beginning in the upcoming school year.
Location: Texas, TX
Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement therapy plans and activities.
- Provide direct support to students in individual or group settings under the supervision of an SLP.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEP goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Support classroom teachers and staff in creating a communicative environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Texas.
- State clearances and certifications as required.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
