Job Position Overview: As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with our team in Modesto, CA, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct and indirect services to students. This part-time position offers extended school hours, with the potential for full-time hours in the upcoming school year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of an SLP
- Assist with the implementation of therapy plans and activities
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with team members
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- California state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Job Hours:
- Part-time position with extended school hours
- Full-time hours available for the next school year (2024-2025)
