Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Overview: We are actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team for the next school year (NSY). The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to helping students overcome communication barriers, possess outstanding diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and be devoted to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the diverse communication needs of students.
- Deliver SLP services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication skills effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
- Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License.
- RI Teaching Certificate.
Position Type:
- K-12th Grade.
- On-site position; Virtual options available for SLPs with schooling experience.
