Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Waynesboro, GA
Duration: Full School Year: July 31st, 2024 to May 30th, 2025
Hours: Full Time
Caseload Ages: Primary caseload - ages 4-10
Description: We're currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Waynesboro, GA for the 24/25 school year. This full-time position spans from July 31st, 2024 to May 30th, 2025. You'll primarily work with children aged 4-10, managing a moderate-sized caseload of around 30 students, with the potential for growth throughout the year. Experience with AACs and addressing various behavioral issues is essential. Our district values a well-rounded SLP, and you'll have the support of two onsite colleagues in the same building. We enthusiastically welcome Clinical Fellows (CFs) and pride ourselves on fostering a tight-knit community within the district.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with AACs and addressing diverse behavioral issues
- Openness to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
- Provide therapy services to children aged 4-10
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to meet student needs
