School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity
Waynesboro, GA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and support their academic progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, aligning with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom and facilitate students' overall development.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Georgia state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
