Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Full-time K-8 Itinerant Position – On-site in Yuma, AZ
Minimum Requirements: To practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Arizona, candidates must hold an active SLPA license from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). A bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field is required. Previous experience in a K-8 school-based setting is preferred.
This full-time itinerant SLPA position in Yuma, AZ, offers an excellent opportunity to work across multiple grade levels, providing high-quality speech and language support to students. You’ll collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educators to ensure students receive targeted, consistent interventions that promote academic growth and communication confidence.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision.

Support implementation of student IEP goals and track progress.

Maintain student documentation and therapy logs accurately and promptly.

Adapt therapy sessions to meet individual student communication needs.

Participate in team meetings and assist in program planning as needed.
