Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Bear, DE

A contracted Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year to support K-8th grade students. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting, working approximately 37.5 hours per week from mid-August 2026 through early June 2027. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
Location: Bear, Delaware (school site; must be able to work on site)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support to students under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ communication goals.
- Track student progress and maintain clear documentation according to school guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators and therapists to support student success.
- Participate in clinical supervision sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active or pending Delaware licensure as an SLPA, or eligible for licensure upon completion of 100 supervised clinical hours.
- Candidates who have not yet completed their 100 supervised clinical hours are encouraged to apply, as clinical supervision will be provided.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Commitment to working on site for the duration of the contract.
- Spanish proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
