What we’re seeking:
- Experience or training in school-based or healthcare settings as an SLPA
- Ability to relate to and work with K-8th grade students
- Spanish language skills are a bonus, but not required
- Active or pending DE licensure, or eligibility for licensure upon completion of 100 supervised hours
- Commitment to on-site attendance
- Capability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Adaptability, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping children communicate
Key responsibilities:
- Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services
- Implement therapy activities for individuals or small groups
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Effectively communicate with staff and families
- Support student IEP goals under the guidance of licensed SLPs
