What we look for:
- Valid SLPA license in Connecticut (or ability to obtain before start)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations (preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones
- Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Comfort traveling between different school sites as needed
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Positive, flexible attitude and genuine passion for student growth
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing therapy plans designed by certified SLPs for K-12 students
- Conducting individual and small group sessions in speech, language, and communication
- Assisting with screenings and documentation in line with district policies
- Contributing to IEP meetings and progress reports, as requested
- Adapting therapy activities to meet the diverse needs of the student population
- Traveling between school sites as required by caseload
