Two full-time positions are available for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support elementary students in a well-organized school environment located in Lansdale, PA. Each role involves 37.5 hours per week serving a prep elementary caseload of 13 students daily, ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language support primarily centered on articulation and language skills. The caseload involves a mix of speech-only and speech as a secondary disability cases. Sessions will be facilitated with the assistance of a paraeducator, and the workload excludes billing Medicaid. Progress monitoring is conducted quarterly without demands for additional pre-collection days for progress documentation. Candidates will use the EdPlan IEP system to manage student records.
Ideal candidates should hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), possess a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate, and have all required PA clearances. While previous virtual service experience is highly valued, candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to engage consistently with students.
