Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Weatherford, TX

Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license issued by the state of Texas
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-based populations (K-12)
- Willingness and ability to complete fingerprinting, as required by TEA (results may take up to 10 business days)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, though not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students within a single school (K-12)
- Carry out intervention plans as directed by Speech Language Pathologists
- Prepare, organize, and implement therapy sessions focused on improving students' communication abilities
- Track student progress and properly document service delivery
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
Engage in a rewarding, full-time contract working up to 37.5 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year (August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027). This position is exclusively on-site, delivering hands-on support and building meaningful connections with your students and the school community.
