School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Waterbury, Connecticut

This contract opportunity runs from July 6 to July 30, taking place Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:15 pm. You’ll work at a lively, supportive campus alongside experienced supervisors, engaging with students from kindergarten through high school. Key Qualifications:
- Hold valid SLPA licensure in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads and adapting to varying needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and committed to providing high-quality student support
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work directly with students, delivering speech-language services as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Follow IEP goals and support communication skill development across diverse student needs
- Maintain session notes and progress reports in compliance with district protocols
- Assist with therapy planning, preparation of materials, and student engagement activities
- Communicate effectively with supervising staff and participate in team meetings as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and support a positive, inclusive learning environment
