Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Visalia, CA

Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid SLPA licensure in California, or eligibility to obtain before the contract begins
- Experience working with children or adolescents in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Comfort working collaboratively with supervising SLPs in a virtual environment
- Adaptability to meet individual student needs with creativity and empathy
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collect and document data on student progress and participate in assessment processes
- Create engaging therapy materials and session activities tailored to each child’s unique goals
- Consult regularly with teachers and other school staff to support language development in the classroom
- Attend virtual supervision meetings and contribute to team discussions on student progress and intervention strategies
- Support students’ social and academic success through effective and compassionate intervention
This position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, aligning with the traditional academic calendar from August through early June.
