Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification in California held for at least one year
- Previous experience working within a school district
- Proven ability to work with students requiring extensive support
- Skilled in data collection and progress monitoring
- AAC device experience highly valued
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students as guided by supervising SLPs
- Implement individualized therapy plans and utilize AAC devices when necessary
- Collect and monitor data to track student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service staff to support student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as requested
- Support a diverse caseload with a commitment to fostering each child’s communication growth
As part of this contract position, you’ll enjoy a pay rate starting at $38+ per hour for a 40-hour work week, with the exact caseload size to be determined.
