Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-Based
Location: Sonoma, CA
Pay: $37–$45/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting in Sonoma, CA!
Position Details
Full-time school-based position
Elementary and middle school caseload
Approximately 37 students on the caseload
Work alongside a supervising SLP
Provide speech and language support to students across the assigned caseload
Pay: $37–$45/hour, depending on experience
ASAP start date
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Implement treatment activities and goals outlined by the supervising SLP
Support students with articulation, language, communication, and other speech-related needs
Track and document student progress
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
Participate as a member of the student's educational team
Qualifications
Active California SLPA license/registration
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for working with students and supporting their communication development
