Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals with creativity and compassion
- Collect and document student progress data accurately
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Support district initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive education and effective communication strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California
- Experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education guidelines
- Collaborative spirit and professional communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various student needs and learning environments
