Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license required
- Prior school-based experience preferred, with confidence adapting to larger or more challenging caseloads
- Solid skills in assisting SLPs with therapy planning and execution
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both with students and staff
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Candidates must be available for in-person, on-site work and able to travel between campuses if assigned itinerant duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities under the supervision of on-site SLPs
- Support assessments and evaluation documentation for students across a range of ages
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school personnel to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the district
- Flexibly adjust to changing caseload needs and school assignments as necessary
