Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students under the supervision of on-site Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students with tough or larger caseloads, helping them achieve communication and academic milestones
- Carry out therapy plans, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support for various age groups, adapting activities as appropriate
- Collaborate with special education staff and other school professionals
- Engage positively with students, families, and staff to foster an inclusive educational environment
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- School-based SLPA experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt in both single-campus and itinerant assignments if required
- Must be available to work on-site in the Bradenton, FL area
