Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - San Marcos, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program
- Valid California SLPA license or eligibility
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Understanding of various types of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy under supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist with developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Support IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals as recommended by supervising SLP
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and related service providers
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for diverse student populations
