Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Salem, NH

You’ll engage with students within an ABA self-contained program, providing invaluable assistance alongside special education teams three days per week (Monday to Friday), totaling 21 hours weekly.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active SLPA licensure in New Hampshire required
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting
- Prior work supporting students in 2nd-5th grades, plus willingness to assist preschoolers
- Familiarity with ABA self-contained classrooms
- Completion of district-specific fingerprinting (will be required pre-start)
- Professional, collaborative, and flexible approach
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized and group speech-language services under SLP supervision
- Support the development of speech and language goals for students
- Accurately document sessions, progress, and observations
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies in classroom environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plans
- Maintain compliance with district policies and NH licensure standards
