Travel Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Rosenberg, TX
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support multiple schools in the Rosenberg, TX area. This role offers the opportunity to work within elementary schools serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, with a caseload of approximately 80-90 students across several campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy assistance to elementary students across multiple campuses
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and school staff to implement therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings regarding student progress and therapy plans as needed
- Adhere to state fingerprinting and background check requirements for credentialing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current professional license as an SLPA recognized by the state
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children
- Ability to manage caseloads spanning multiple school locations
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and educators
- Flexibility to adapt to different school environments, including potential travel among district campuses
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Rosenberg, TX, with some assignments possibly extending to surrounding areas
- Full-time option available at 35 hours per week; part-time may be considered pending confirmation on days
- Start date is ASAP with assignment through May 21, 2026
Additional Information:
- Multiple schools require support, including locations in Richmond/Rosenberg and possibly Fulshear/Katy
- Placement contingent upon district funding approval, currently in process
