Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse learners with varied needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide feedback to SLPs and staff
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on student goals and outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment for students and staff
- Support classroom modifications and generalization of skills as needed
