Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Richmond, TX

This position will serve multiple campuses, providing valuable speech and language services to students in need. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license is required; license must be in hand (no supervision hours provided)
- Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting as an SLPA
- Ability to commute reliably to Furr High School, Edison Middle School, and Holland Middle School
- Prior experience with HISD is a plus, but not required
- Commitment to on-site work (no remote option available)
- Completion of required fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students across assigned campuses
- Collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school administrators
- Track student progress and assist with documentation and reporting in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Adjust support strategies for diverse student populations as needed
Notable Details:
- Candidates will need to purchase a laptop to use for work purposes; reimbursement will be provided
- Reliable transportation is necessary as you will be rotating between three locations
- This contract runs through the end of May 2027 and is available for an immediate start
