Qualifications:
- Active TX SLPA credential required
- Previous experience in school environments or with elementary-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Follow established therapy plans targeting articulation, language, and social communication skills
- Collect and document student data for progress monitoring
- Assist in developing and preparing therapy materials
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other school professionals
- Support classroom teachers with strategies to enhance classroom communication
- Communicate with families about student participation as needed
