Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLPA certification required
- Previous experience as a School SLPA (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to new clinical and educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language support services under the supervision of an SLP
- Carry out therapy sessions for elementary students, as directed by IEPs
- Collect data, track progress, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educational staff
- Participate in school and district meetings as needed
