Qualifications & Skills Needed:
- Valid SLPA license for the state of Maine
- Experience working in school or healthcare settings (preschool experience preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Compassion and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Ability to implement intervention plans as directed by a supervising SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language interventions to preschool students as directed
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection
- Support SLPs in developing and modifying therapy materials
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure cohesive support
- Attend related team meetings and participate in professional development
