This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a Tele-SLP, sharing a caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings. You'll work with an engaging mix of student populations, helping to foster communication and learning for 41 students—an assignment that may adjust with needs.
Your schedule will consist of 35 hours per week, with responsibilities divided between 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions (16 individual, 37 group) spread across three buildings. This unique partnership enables you to grow your skills and make meaningful connections with students at different developmental stages, contributing to their academic and personal growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certificate
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple campuses and with diverse age groups
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to providing services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and group therapy to students as directed by the supervising SLP
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records for each student
- Coordinate with staff, teachers, and families for optimal student support
