This contract opportunity runs from August 19, 2026, through May 14, 2027, and centers on a supportive campus serving ECSE through 1st grade. You’ll work with a caseload of 35-40 students presenting a range of needs, from articulation and language to pragmatic skills, helping them develop crucial communication abilities within a collaborative school environment.
You’ll be the go-to SLPA for this campus, with an opportunity to supervise another SLPA and further develop your leadership capacity. The focus is on effective, hands-on services; there is no AAC required as part of your caseload.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license (required)
- Experience working with elementary age students preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administration, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in ECSE to 1st grade, targeting articulation, language, and pragmatic goals
- Collaborate with supervising SLP to develop and implement therapy plans
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Lead and support another SLPA as part of campus services
- Communicate regularly with teachers and families to maximize student success
