This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary schools with a focus on alleviating overflow from Speech-Language Pathologists. The position is a contract assignment beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year, with work scheduled Monday through Friday, 25 to 30 hours per week, across two sites.
Location: Napa, CA and Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: Contract through end of school year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 25–30 hours weekly
Assignment: Elementary school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Support speech-language pathology services by assisting SLPs with therapy and interventions
- Conduct Spanish assessments if bilingual skills are available
- Manage caseload effectively to alleviate overflow work from lead SLPs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in school settings
- Bilingual Spanish-English skills preferred, but not required
- Ability to work across multiple sites efficiently
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
