Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out prescribed speech-language activities under direct supervision
- Support the implementation of students’ therapy plans as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Prepare materials for therapy sessions and maintain accurate data records
- Assist with assessments and progress monitoring
- Contribute input to IEP meetings when appropriate
- Engage in regular communication with SLPs regarding student needs and progress
- Encourage positive learning environments by reinforcing communication strategies in the classroom
