Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting elementary students with their speech and language development on a part-time basis. This contract role, located in the vibrant Pasadena, TX area, runs from August 19, 2026, to May 27, 2027. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- SLPA credentials and eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of therapy planning, data collection, and documentation
- Comfort working with elementary-aged students and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and utilize digital recordkeeping software (training provided for SameGoal ARD/IEP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress documentation in alignment with school requirements
- Track and analyze student data to inform intervention planning
- Collaborate with onsite staff and SLPs to ensure continuity of care
- Access and implement specialized resources, including campus-provided materials and digital subscriptions (Ultimate SLP, Unique Learning, SymbolStix)
- Utilize SameGoal ARD/IEP software to manage reports and student plans
