Your work will span 1 to 3 schools in the area, with autonomy to create your own weekly and daily schedule based on campus needs—enabling you to manage your caseload flexibly and efficiently.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA license in Kansas (or eligibility)
- Previous SLPA experience in educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside supervising SLPs
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to multiple school sites weekly
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to adapt to changing needs and schedules
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students under SLP direction, supporting speech and language goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate data and records
- Assist in preparing materials and adapting treatment plans collaboratively with supervising SLPs
- Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and students across multiple campuses
- Maintain compliance with district policies and state/federal guidelines
