Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA licensure in Florida through the Department of Health
- At least two years of SLPA experience, with a minimum of six months in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with school protocols and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Must be able to complete Florida school district fingerprinting and AHCA Clearinghouse requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support to a traditional caseload of students
- Follow plans developed by supervising SLPs and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Document services and maintain up-to-date records accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Engage with school-based professional development and team meetings
- Serve one primary school site, with assignment details finalized at placement
