In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced SLPs, tailoring your weekly schedule to best meet the needs of your assigned students. Expect to visit up to 1–3 schools per week, coordinating your time based on larger caseloads within the district. You’ll play a key role in collecting data and supporting individualized treatment plans, enabling SLPs to expand their reach and improve student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential required
- Prior experience in a K–12 educational setting is highly valued
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to commute between assigned schools each week
- Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable managing your own schedule
- Commitment to working under the supervision and direction of licensed SLPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
- Maintain accurate documentation by collecting and recording data
