Oklahoma City Schools is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position supports speech-language pathologists in providing high-quality therapy services to students across a K–12 caseload.
This role is ideal for an SLPA who is passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically and socially.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Position Type: Full-time
- Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year
- Caseload: K–12 students
- Setting: School-based
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Assist with screenings, data collection, and reporting
- Support students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Travel between assigned schools as needed (paid travel time)
Qualifications:
- Active Oklahoma SLPA or SLP license required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
