Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification as required by the state of South Carolina
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt and maintain a supportive learning environment in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support assessments, implement therapy interventions, and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to encourage communication growth and social participation
- Assist with the development and review of student IEPs
- Maintain accurate records according to school and legal guidelines
