A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a middle school setting in Carlsbad, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students.
- Work with a caseload primarily composed of middle school students.
- Support students in classroom and therapy settings to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working in a school environment, preferably with middle school-aged students.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred to effectively serve diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to start immediately and commit through the end of the school year.
