Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline
- Active ASHA SLPA Certification required
- Prior experience as an SLPA in educational settings
- Familiarity with providing support to school-aged children
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort collaborating with lead speech-language pathologists, teachers, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions in accordance with students’ individualized needs
- Collect and maintain accurate therapy data to support student progress and IEP reporting
- Work closely with the supervising SLP, assisting with planning and implementing intervention strategies
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse communication needs
- Participate in school meetings and help develop effective communication goals for students
