Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students and contribute to their academic and personal growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. This full-time, on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity beginning August 10, 2026, and running through May 21, 2027, with up to 37.5 hours per week. You will work closely with students in a dynamic school environment, focusing on individualized and group speech-language services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) licensure for Texas
- Prior experience providing speech-language services to children or adolescents in educational settings
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Availability for the entire contract duration and comfortable working exclusively on-site
- Thorough knowledge of speech-language therapy tools, IEP documentation, and collaboration with educators
- Ability to complete or provide verification of TEA fingerprinting within 10 business days
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing direct, on-site speech therapy to a caseload of approximately 60–65 K-12 students
- Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists and other educational professionals to implement IEP goals
- Tracking progress, maintaining accurate session records, and contributing to student evaluations
- Engaging families and school staff in supporting individualized language development
- Serving as a resource for effective intervention strategies
- Communicating regularly with your supervising SLP and attending relevant team meetings
- Supporting one assigned school (site to be confirmed) throughout the school year
